Langford) at Madron, Cornwall, dau. of Edward Langford of Hawkes Farm, Alverton, (of Trungle) Penzance, Cornwall, and Katherine Nettle (b. 6 Jan. 1700/01 in Madron, Cornwall) the daughter of John Nettle, a Jacobite distantly connected with Baron Hyde, (see Earl of Clarendon) and had issue,

m. 1stly 6 July 1785 (aged 16) at Madron Church by the Revd William Borlace, Dr Walter Borlase, b. Mar. 1762 Bapt. 7 Mar. 1762. d. 1809, a surgeon at Penzance (younger s. of Walter Borlase and Mary Tyeth) and had issue,

1. Constantia Langford Borlase, b. 6.30 pm 8 Dec. 1785 Bapt privately by the Revd Parkins Chaplain. d. Feb 1850 unm. buried in a shared grave with her mother in Kensal Green Cemetery, London
2. Frances Eliza Borlase, b. 1792 d. 22 Jan. 1849 Helston aged 56. m. Mar. 1830 at St Hilary, Helston, Paul Matthew Moyle, as his second wife, b. Chasewater 4 Oct. 1788. Educ. at Guys and St Thomas hospitals; M.R.C.S. Eng. 1809 Surgeon at Helston, d. 7 Aug. 1880 Cross St, Helston and had issue,

Commissary to the States of Holland, residence Heerde, Gilderland, Holland) and had issue,

1. Capt. William Grenfell, b. 1795 d. Jan. 1857 in Holland. Attended Royal Military College at Great Marlow 7 July 1809 (aged 13 years 9 months) Left 24 December 1811 having been gazetted into the 7th Dragoons on 11th Apr. 1811. Served Waterloo as well as Peninsular Campaign, Orthes 1814 & Toulouse 1814.
2. Pascoe George Norman Grenfell, b. 1798 d. 1830 unm. Commissary to the state of Holland.
1. Fanny Grant Grenfell, b. 29 Mar. 1793 in Knightsbridge, London. d. 1861 m. 16 Jun. 1810 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Parish Church, Westminster 
Captain William Furlong Wise, later Rear Admiral, b. 1784 d. 29 Apr. 1844 and buried in the parish of Sodderwell and who was at the Battle of Algiers 1816 in command of the Granicus and had issue.
